    • This module is designed to plant the foundational seeds of knowledge about takiwātanga, offering a unique perspective rooted in te ao Māori (the Māori worldview). Through stories, values, and traditions, this module introduces how takiwātanga is viewed within te ao Māori, emphasising the idea that autism is a taonga (treasure) to be nurtured.  It aims to help you understand the cultural context of takiwātanga and see it through a strength-based, holistic lens.
